Charles was raised on an arable farm in Hampshire and studied Agriculture at Nottingham. He then worked for 2 years for a leisure group in marketing, for a commercial photographic studio for 2 years and then in the agricultural seed trade for 5 years where he started Agripix, taking photos whilst driving around the UK as a sales representative. For the last twelve years he has forged and impressive photographic career, with some 75 covers on The Field Magazine and numerous covers and features on many of the other leading rural titles. Other clients include The Soil Association, The Duchy of Cornwall, and the Countryside Alliance to name a few.
